How it works

Premiere-night kits for indie cinemas, bars and bookshops, one for each blockbuster.

Five crowd events land in 16 weeks this winter, and small venues build each night from scratch. Houselights is an events studio that ships a whole premiere night per release: a trivia deck, a themed menu, a run-of-show, original posters and ready posts. Every kit is unofficial and original, with no studio logos or stills.

  1. Step 01

Writes the trivia and the menu

A 60-question deck in six rounds from press kits and public interviews, plus five drinks and three snacks with generic names and costing.

  2. Step 02

    Designs original posters and posts

Illustrated posters and table tents in a ‘fan night’ style that avoids every official design, and ten ready social posts.

  3. Step 03

Sends each kit two weeks ahead

Your venue’s name on every page, delivered two weeks before each date, with the release calendar watched for moves.

Questions

Straight answers.

Get the sample round
Is this official studio material?

No. Kits are unofficial fan-night material. We never use titles as a brand, logos, stills, character likenesses or quotes, and the owner checks the art before release.

What if a release date moves?

Dates do move, and one film this season already moved once. If a date changes, your Season Pass rolls to the next event.

Will the trivia spoil the film?

No. Kits ship before release, so the questions only cover earlier films, the books and production facts.
